Perfect, will need minor filling of screw's
Perfect for the Katsu plunge router attachment will not fit the standard base, but the screw's that are on the plunger need filling down? the head's (see pic the silver looking one's) stick above the base plate when you have the brass plate installed, the screw's are easy to file as the are very soft apart from that it's great

Could be better
Seem well made had to use different mounting screws than ones supplied with plunge base as they stick up above base plate making the router rock, the recess in router base needs to be deeper allowing the guide mounting plate to sit in deeper as you have a gap under the screw as it hits the side of the mounting plate not allowing them to go down flat on the plunge base with the guide bushes being katsu specific you would think they would fit perfectly without any hassle for this reason I would only rate them 3 starsVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Cheap but does the job ok.
it's ok for the price, but a bit to plasticiy. It shows brass guild bushes but there isn't any with the kit just the plastic ones, brass guild bushes can be fitted to this kit.. If you plunge to deep and the collet makes contact with the plastic bushes they melt. The base plate is not very flat. Overall will do the job but if I was in the market for a base and guild bush, knowing what I know now I would probably buy a Trend base and guild bush set, but it would cost three to four times the price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great quality
Bought the Katsu router complete with all attachments last year. What a great buy, then saw the bushes set that fits the plunge base, great buy. You get a lot for your money
All good but for the adaptor plate is a sloppy fit in the router. If you need accuracy use a genuine makita guide bush. If being 1/2mm out doesnt worry you then it is very good value. Pretty good, but not perfect.
For the money they're good value for money, but given they're made by Katsu it's disappointing that you have to file the heads of the retaining screws down on the plunge base to stop them from standing proud. Two things would make this perfect. 1 Make the lip of the adaptor plate thinner to stop the retaining screw heads needing to be filed down. 2 Reduce the diameter of the adaptor plate slightly to allow a little more adjustment for centering it over the router. The cherry on the plate would be to include a centering cone too, even if it push the price up a little more. Not what it seams.
It looks great, its made of brass Whats not to like. The main thing is the base fitting. You would think for their own router base they could get it right. 1. It is so thick the screws will not go in flush so its unusable. 2. When you fit a guide bush into the base it stands proud by .05mm not much but enough to catch on the jig. 3. Random lenth of the guide bushes, some so long they need to be cut off to fit a 9mm thick jig and some very short. BEWARE READ THE SMALL PRINT AS THE SIZES PRINTED IN THE BOX SEEM TO MEAN NOTHING AS TO WHAT IS NEXT TO THE BUSH IN THE BOX. Could be a great item.

Good stuff
These are well made solid bits of brass, nicely presented at a very reasonable price. I modified their base plate to fit my small router, which was easy on a lathe. Then I made another base for the other router! If you can't do this, or get it done, they would be a problem.
