Here we go again.
This is my 3rd exact product in the last 14 years. I use it for a lot of hot water needs.. As stated by others they don't seem to last a long time. I choose the one with the least amount of bells and whistles. When it works it is a blessing but all of a sudden it decides it is not going to heat the water and that is all she wrote. After checking fuses and water lines it just decides it is not going to work. The concept is great and I do love using it when it works.

Great hot water insinkerator
Great product. We had an older model that stopped working, so e connected it to the plumbing ourselves. One thing to point out is that you have to have a compression bolt to connect the insinkerator to the copper water line. This is not included and the online video doesn't talk much about this, nor do the instructions. Luckily, our old insinkerator line had something that connected them, so we were able to use that again. It's unfortunate it doesn't come with this though. Otherwise, it's great!

The instant very hot water is useful in so many ways! This purchase was a replacement for a much older unit that died of old age. I missed it so much that I could hardly wait to install this replacement!

Insinkerator Hot Water Dispenser
It is a really good product. We have used them for years, and wouldn’t have anything else in the kitchen. We make hot tea with it. We use it for scalding, and for soups, and the occasional instant coffee for guests.

I wish that the 1/3 gallon size was still available.
It was hard to install because of the size of the tank. I replaced a1/3 gallon tank with the 2/3 gallon, I do like my new one.
