Like a hot knife through butter!!! Yes it is really that good. The performance of this iron is fantastic. The power make the ironing so much easier and quicker. It will definitly save you time. One flaw? has turned into a benifit - as when the tank empties you have to turn the iron off to refill it - so this turns into cup of tea time, while I refill and reheat. Good but could be better
This is the 4th Tefal steam generator I’ve owned. It is okay, not as good as earlier models from a decade ago. The build quality is not the same anymore. The iron will run out of steam as you are ironing and you’ve got to keep the button pressed before you hear the generator starting up again and then blasting you with steam which borders on being a bit dangerous. You have to get used to it’s quirks. This was a like for like replacement for a previous steam generator that lasted barely 2yrs and had the same temperament. If you can live with it running out of steam intermittently then it does the job of ironing clothes quickly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Great performance
I bought this to replace a 5bar Bosch with fixed settings. This is in a different league. The iron is a reasonable weight and does very well on the standard setting. The ability to select settings on the iron handle on a single button, conveniently placed, by rotating through the options is great. The removable water tank makes it easy to refill. Only niggle is that removing the descaler when there is water in the base unit results in the water pouring out, so empty it out first. My last steam generator iron was a Tefal which lasted 6 years and was very good so I wanted another Tefal. I am even more impressed with this iron, it is very powerful and makes ironing easy. Plenty of steam, great pressure of steam. Not as well made as my last one. No cord rewind which is disappointing. The steam hose wraps around the body for storage but is very fiddly compared to the sleek design of my last iron. Not nearly as well made as my last iron but much better steam. Lovely iron but not as good as original
I have had these irons since first on sale but this one does not have a cord recall.no where safely to store.the cord.as all the others I have purchased.as stated a nice iron but they could have given this iron its original features instead of a cord dangling on the ground if not held up .my hands are on the carrying handle no space for cord .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
