    Good value useful tool.

An excellent little tool, cuts wood etc, with supplied blade. If a proxon ceramic blade is fitted cutting piano wire or other small metal sections is easy.

  • Most critical review

    It could have been better.

A.though it does what it’s designed to do, it could have been better. After taking it out of the box and giving it a look over, I noticed that it only goes 45 degrees in one direction which gives it a left hand 45 degrees but if designed better, it could have also given a right hand 45 degrees, which would have more useful for picture framing.

  • Cheap but Good

I bought this for a particular job, that of cutting to length GROOVY aluminium model yacht masts which are slightly larger in diameter than the capacity of the machine but by rotating the mast in the really useful clamp I had no trouble in achieving a clean cut time after time. The price was amazingly cheap and it takes up very little space under the bench. I'm not sure how durable it will be but for light work of the sort I gave it, it should be fine.

  • Highly reccommended product

The machine is sturdy, easy to use and very safe. Excellent value for money and is a boon to a scratch modeller like me, I cannot understand why I have struggled to hand cut uniform lengths of styrene all these years. Excellent service, product and aftercare. Highly reccommended.

  • Good for small cuts only.

The machine is well made but the blade blunted after only a few cuts in thin aluminium. It certainly would not cut steel as advertised. Good for wood or thin plastic. Note that it will NOT cut anything as wide as 15mm or higher than 12mm. Will not cut lengths. Cuts angles accurately.

  • Zero quality

At first switch on the blade fell off. After tightening blade multiple times it keeps coming loose. It can be fixed with a spring washer. I had one of the original saws from 8 years ago which is identical but orange. It lasted literally thousands of uses. This looks the same but has been cheapened in every possible way.

  • Nice little compact machine ideal for accurate model railway work.

Gave it heavy use and motor stood up to it well. Nice aluminium base and nice plastic case. Easy to change wheel, small Allen key into hole underside of spindle to lock. (Man on u-tube was holding wheel and did not seem to know this).

  • Good little machine

It does the job quite well. It needs screwing down and there are no holes to do this. Otherwise, if you don't put too much pressure on it, it's a good little machine.

  • Little power

This saw has very little power. As soon as it touches the workpiece it almost stops and a very light touch is needed. It takes ages to cut through a small aluminium tube and I have reverted back to using a hacksaw

  • Fantastic little tool

Had this for about two weeks now and used it everyday and it’s great, currently building a small wooded kit and this has been great for cutting all the planks.
