Excellent remake
Wow what a game. First played this game in 1998 on the ps1. This remake is probably the best Resident Evil game looks stunning on ps4 pro at 2160p but the frame rate and graphics drop at 1080p. This is a 4k game using the RE engine, my LG tv hasn't got hdr but looks amazing in 4k. So much nostalgia playing this game every room feels the same as the original but updated and new areas to explore. The cat and mouse scene with Mr X is a classic example of survival horror weapons cannot kill him, just hide and seek. Amazing gaming experience that is a must for any fan or someone looking for a new experience
Great gaming experience, 20-30 hours of game play, Graphically it is phenomenal, sound design is some of the best in any horror game as it goes for a more ambient approach. Lots of reputability, that is if you enjoy going back and revisiting areas, but i find that this style of game challenges how you approach your next play through. First play though as Leon took 8 hours, and then my second play through as Claire took just under 4 hours. This game demands to be a fun speed run after your 2nd play through. I would recommend this to anyone who likes horror/survival games and who doesn't have the time to put 100+ hours into a game. It's a complete overhaul of the original, in very good ways. The backbone storyline it the same but played out differently, with added areas in the game. We waited a long time for this.
