  • Can not go wrong with these for the price.

These panels have a smaller footprint than 100 watt panels of the past. They have mounting holes at each end as well as on the sides. Power production under low light seem much improved over older models. For the price you can not go wrong.

  • Solar Energy 100W Panel

Item arrived well packaged and seems to be very sturdy. Bottom of the frame has many holes on the edges for easy mounting. Frame is made from aluminum therefore it's pretty light. Weights about 7 kilograms which isn't bad. Back has the two thick wire connectors that require similar type of plugs, I guess it's good for parallel hookup to other panels because the plugs are heavy duty and remain attached if you try to pull them apart. Not sure how well they will behave in cold weather, but they seems legit.

  • Panels work great

Received them promptly and they are the same panels as the my Renogy mono ones I already had so they worked out good. Nice output, getting 340 peak with four 100 watt panels and around 2300-2700 watts a day with full sun in South Florida using a solar tracker.

  • Power over time.

Got 4 of these for an array on a pole. 2 from eBay, and 2 from Am**on. I put 2 series sets returning about 33 volts each. On a 70 foot run using a 6 awg wire. I get on a good day about 300 watt at max. So I have 25% loss. I know my inverter uses 10%. So I'm looking at a 15% loss. The 6 awg wire has no more then 5% loss. So 10% loss that could be my angle, clouds, to hot (Phoenix), or the panels. Little tip for DIY I found is with the right inverter try getting the volts as high as you can. More volts = less loss, and less wire needed. Example the power company uses 750,000 volts allowing those same wires to feed house after house. Renogy make this same 100 watt panel however HQST gave me the best deal.

  • HQST 100 watt Monocrystalline Solar Panel

I bought the HQST after reading many reviews and comparing a lot of different brands. It seems to just be a rebadged Renogy panel. I installed it as the beginning of my off grid powered toy box/shop. The panel was putting out 6.1 amps and 94.2 watts using Both a TRMS multimeter and a Thermodyne Systems 180 amp watt meter. These readings were at 3:00 pm inNW Wisconsin on a sunny 73 degree day. The item was listed as a refurbished customer return. When it arrived ahead of schedule it was well packed in cardboard and foam and looked like brand new. Nothing to indicate a previously handled/ shipped unit. The panel seems very well made and also very sturdy. I will be buying about 19 more of these for my structure.

  • exceeds expectations

I installed this on a motorcycle trailer to keep battery charged. Run a fan and lights. Even with everything on the panel keeps everything running at 12.7 volts on a cloudy day. I highly recommend

  • Very stout 12v solar panel

I own 40 of the Renogy RNG-100D mono panels. These HQST panels are the same specs, size, but different looking cells. However, I find they perform equally (if not better) than the Renogy panels.

  • happy with it.

I'm happy with it. It's keeping my 2 deep cycle batteries charged. I did add some silicone around the inside where the glass meets the frame to keep moisture from coming in. Just as a precaution.
