Fantastic platformer with gorgeous visuals and music
Shantae and the Pirate's Curse, my favourite in the series so far, has you playing as the titular half-genie as she tries to prevent an ancient evil from resurrecting. Having lost her powers from the previous games, Shantae must now rely on new weapons and equipment found in the game's various Zelda-like dungeons, each opening new possibilities for exploration. The game's dialogue and characters are also memorable and full of emotion and humour.
