Nice fryer for moderate price; a couple of things would make it better
a well working fryer but another item to try to fit into storage or take up counter space. I replaced a small fryer from 20 years ago that quit maintaining temp. This CDF-200 is very accurate on temp (measured with laser thermometer), Fast pre-heating and rapid reheat to maintain temp. Only goes to 380 degrees, which for most items is fine. If ever needed higher temp, this would not be adjustable above 380. I was surprised for its size that the exterior metal is as thin as it is. I expected heavier metal on exterior. The basket has fairly good metal weight for heat retention and is lift-out for cleaning. I like the lift-out heating element and the magnetic power cord. I wish it a drain spout for emptying oil.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Did not work right out of the box
