Great quality and value.Does the job.
Actually..I've only used this as a coffee strainer to remove grouts when pouring from the cafetiere. It works. Very well. It's a good size to fit the top of a cup or mug and the mesh is fine enough to remove 98%+ of the grouts without taking too long to fill up the cup! As for brewing tea...strength is a matter of personal taste...for a strong cup, leave it longer....so "does it brew quickly" is an odd question.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fine mesh strainer strains tea very well.
Purchased so I could use loose leaf tea, rather than tea bags and cut down on non-biodegradeable plastic waste. Traditional tea strainers didn't actually work in stopping tea leafs ending up in the cup, so I looked for a very fine mesh one. This has worked very well. Similar dregs in the cup to using tea bags.
