A good little chest freezer that works as it should
What a great value for this freezer. I didnt realize how nice it would be to have an additional freezer, but now I am hooked. It freezes deeper than my Fridge/freezer, so keeps things from getting frosted or freezer burn. I have been using my seal a meal to store leftovers or extras.. perfect for those nights you dont feel like making a dinner. I have not had any problem with it needing defrosted, I keep it in the garage (and I live in Florida), and it is completely quiet. I wish I wouldve gotten the WHITE freezer, but it was not available to me when I ordered. Black shows dust.. There is a helpful basket for small items, which is handy. I recommend filling your freezer with items, at least half full, for best performance. Keeping a list of what you throw in there is helpful, and insulated gloves are also helpful.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It is a basic freezer, it freezes but no lock, no light, one rack and count on a dent!
The product has an issue with shipping. It seems NO ONE gets an undamaged Artic King Freezer, no matter how much you pay. My freezer works fine and does what I expect it to do. The only reason I bought this is because it is extremely difficult to find freezers in this time of Covid 19. So I took my chances and just like everyone else it arrived with a big dent on the side. This happens so often it would almost seem as if they are selling scratch and dent products and failing to mention it. I can find no other reason for EVERYONES freezer to arrived damaged. We needed an extra freezer due to the pandemic. While there are many brands out there, this one met our needs perfectly in terms of cost and design. There was also the delivery factor. It's working.
My freezer arrived damaged. I think the manufacturer should better package the product so that it'll be better protected. The price was high, and everyone online seem to be price gouging for freezers. However, it's working fine and we're just thankful have this deep freezer 🙏. They're not so easy to come by these days.
