LG SPK8-S Rear Speakers
Met my expectations. Unboxed and had setup and working right away. No issues at all. Wirelessly connected as soon as powered on. Use with LG SN7Y sound bar. Installed LG speaker Android app to adjust sound levels and set to Surround Sound (which is not the default). Not a high-end system but suits my requirements perfectly for the price. Tested movies and music ... all good. "Apocalypse Now" movie effects and soundtrack sounded great. Highly recommend for "budget" sound system.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I wish it was better
Nice speakers, easy to install. Almost useless: even with 4k video source or 5.1 DVD there is almost NO SOUND that comes from these rear speakers. That's with the control set to maximum rear channel volume. BIG disappointment from LG.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Solid enhancement to the LG Sound Bar.
Product is a rear speaker that operates through a rear receiver (a small, thin, flat box) with the two speakers attached by wire to that receiver. As designed, fine; but, a better design would be two-autonomous speaker / receivers, completely wireless and communicating with the main sound bar. Product quality is fine, as is the sound; but, we have not compared the quality of sound to other systems. Speakers perform well in surround sound mode. We have not attempted a Dolby Atmos effect, yet. As a solid, surround sound enhancement to the LG Sound Bar, this has been a good purchase. I will spend more time to determine if sound performance can be further contoured, as indicated in some other reviews. That would make this a 5-star system.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Added lg spk8-2 made a world of difference 75 in. LG smart tv in my shop (husband wife cave). Had bar with bass box. Great for football games. Spend a great deal of time out in shop now. As close as u can get to theater sound for cheap price. Shop is 36×40. Rear speakers were put next to bottom on same wall as tv.
