We are sold on the technology as a whole.
We've had an older version for many years. When you shut these off, the fan continues for a short time to cool the electronics. This is probably good. This newer model runs much longer than the old one did. Other manufacturers don't use this feature. The new one seems to control the temperature better. Overall, we use the induction burner much more than we use our stove. We love the safety of the burner staying cool outside the radius of the pan. We buy thin pans like IKEA sells.
