Returning this item only because I am elderly and find all these modern things with small buttons too difficult to work. I listen to Audio Books and want to move on from my old tape player to a modern CD Audio Book player but cannot find a suitable one. Expensive to use
Does what it says on the description and is good for talking books, but it is a high user of Battery power, and it does not like Rechargeable Batteries, I Do not use it for playing music, So either I have a faulty machine or if the norm, I would not recommend this Denver DMP-389. My New fully charged 2400 Uniross Rechargeables lasted two discs and on Holiday I had to Purchase some Expensive Duracel Batteries. Fitted two at a Cost of £2 and they managed a book approx. 12discs (hours) This info should be obtainable at purchase... Oldbowler34Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good value, brilliant for audiobooks.
I bought this to listen to audiobooks. The sound quality is very good, and I'm delighted with the 'auto resume' feature. The only reason it doesn't get five stars is that the buttons are too small and too close together. I bought this specifically for audio books and am pleased with the auto resume and sound quality. Instructions easy to follow. Seems to be a good player for the money.
