Good feel value for money
They are excellent value for money. If you are prepared to set them up properly (like any should be for fine work, then they are awesome. As in they feel so well balanced, cut to an extraordinary fine degree and hold their edge very very well. By setting up, I mean the poly coating that they come from the factory needs to be removed and then sharpening and honing (that is worth the effort on these chisels). I also smoothed all the way up the metal as it improved the feel and control now they are like a lie Nielsen or veritas chisel (except for the handles). If I can stop myself from using them at any excuse I will spend a bit of time on finishing the handles to the same standard, then they really will be an equal to the best of the best. Very pleased with them and saved a bucket load of money in exchange for some time and effort. The quality of the metal is there. The all important shape is there and the balance is there.
