Good strong replacement box
I bought this as the cover on my existing box had been broken during building work. I separated the new cover from the back plate and mounted it on the existing back plate, attached to the wall of the house. The cover fitted perfectly on the old back plate, and seems quite sturdy compared to the old broken one. It was very easy to do, however you need to be careful when removing the fastening plugs holding the box cover onto the back plate. They are made from a plastic that is fairly brittle and it is quite easy to damage them.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fit for purpose
Exactly what I needed. When my house was re-rendered original box was painted over. Didn’t look too bad at first but now horrible. Great to find that I could replace box with identical. Gas box
You need to bear in mind this was a second hand unit under the “new other” banner. To me second hand previously use should be advertised as used. The box is OK, lower hinge slightly damaged.
