Easy to use, quick setup, great value for money
Purchased the UMC1820, along with an ADA8200 to expand to 16ch input. All works fantastically, very clean input with pretty much no noise. Easy install on Windows 11 and logically named inputs made it easy to setup in my DAW of choice (Audition). Recording 9 drum mics simultaneously in independent channels works flawlessly and sounds great - I was concerned there might be latency between the two units but I haven't had any issues on a ~2 year old 'ok spec' laptop. Overdubs with guitar/bass plugged directly into the UMC1820 sound very clean as well.
If purchasing this combination, you'll need to buy an optical cable separately to connect the ADA8200 into the UMC1820 (using the ADAT setting on the ADA8200), but this was easy to find at Jaycar and less than $10 (TOSLink 50cm cable). The two devices cost me less than $750 all up (on sale and including separate purchase of optical cable) and gives you 16ch independent input, I think you'd be hard pressed to find anything else with that many inputs at that price point, and the audio quality is great for home recording.
