Not a professional, but will need this to replace most of the faucets in our house
I am not a professional plumber, but I am an engineer, "retired". We bought a house less than a year ago that is nearly 60 years old. Much of the pipe plumbing is original and many of the faucets installed over the years is either extremely old and worn out or extremely cheap. Either way, nearly all of the faucets and showers will be replaced. I ordered this tool to assist with replacing the kitchen sink faucet which was replaced less than a year ago by the previous owner. The faucet had a dripping problem in which I could not fix due to the cheap materials this faucet was made of. Anyway, needed to remove the faucet underneath the sink and this tool did the magic trick. WOW... it was like extending my hand 12 inches through a briar patch of water supply pipes, sink trap, garbage disposal and whatnots. The tool had easily fit the nuts and wing nuts that required to remove in order to remove the old faucet. I thought to myself, "That was way too easy." After removing the faucet, the new faucet come into play. Needless to say, the new faucet didn't need tools to tighten down the faucet to the sink, but only needed a crescent wrench to tighten the water supply tubes to the water supply threaded connectors. The tool helped a lot in getting the old faucet out with great ease. I am glad I got this tool and plan to use it on all of our repair plumbing needs, when and if needed. I got a good price for mine. It was $19 with free shipping. If you plan to do some plumbing repairs around the house, I would recommend getting this one. It is a handy-dandy tool, indeed.
