It was a little tricky to set up, but after emailing the manufacturer it worked great. They had to do some kind of remote reset or something, which was no big deal at all.

The item doesn't indicate there are modem incompatibilities.
There doesn't seem to be a warning to check what type of modem you have before purchasing this, but there are known incompatibilities with some modems (mine is Cisco DPC3939, which is provided by my internet company). I bought my first two at Walmart which they are out of stock.. I came here! You can hear and talk back. I have one out front window, one on view of dogs while at work and they are gated to utility room and new one my 3rd at back door that’s a private entrance as one night at 945pm there was an unknown man knocking at it.
