Also known as Fab & Fix, Spartan, Westward and Duraflex, Sapa or Saracen.ERA multipoint door lock gearboxes are very distinctive, with a square design and no corner cut-outs. The overall length of the gearbox is 221mm and the width is the backset plus 18mm.Available in 35mm or 45mm backsets, all ERA gearboxes have the same dimensions. ERA multipoint door lock gearboxes feature a 24mm high latch (with 2 distinctive screws in the latch to reverse to latch), a 30mm high deadbolt, and 61mm between them. Gearboxes are held on to the faceplate with 4 screws, which is unusual for a multipoint door lock.

ERA Vectis Multi Point Door Lock Gear Box replacement
Fitted at a customers home. Easy to fit and all worked OK. I have not been called back so assume it's all OK. I have noticed having bought a similar lock with the shooting bolts on these cheaper replacements are not a brass alloy like the original but this does not effect the function of the lock. Listing says UPVC door lock but I fitted it to a composite door which wasn't a problem. Having taken apart several of these locks replacing just the gearbox is well worth doing. I could have purchased the whole door mechanism from Screwfix for over £80 but it is usually just the central gearbox that needs replacing. Some of the components inside these gearbox's are quite small and can break or wear. It's important to keep the rails and components lubricated as if the operation is not free moving more force is applied to the handle which can damage the parts inside the gearbox.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

okay on composite/wooden doors, but keys not so good on all upvc with a wider side.
This product no longer comes with Vectis keys, if the door is wider and have anti snapping blocks the keys will not reach the levers. Can be a problem on one side of the door.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
