A cult classic performance
This is two films in one with flash forwards linking the two. The graphic physical violence of the first half is mirrored by the drug induced psychological mind games of the latter half. Jagger is okay playing himself, fox is outstanding and Anita pallenberg is unbelievably cool stylish and stunning. This film is unique of its time. It is the formation of Nicholas roegs film vocabulary and the best film of Donald cammell. Throw in ry cooder with a great soundtrack and you have a timeless classic.
