Lovely Series
I'm surprised by how well this series has stood the test of time. My wife, who didn't know it, is enjoying it a lot. The great thing about it is that it gives fair time to a large cast of beautifully written, passionately acted characters: it's not just about the kids. This is a very basic DVD set-there aren't even subtitles, but it is a nice trip back to the fading disappointments of the Clinton years, when America still held on to a semblance of self-respect, before 9/11 and their worst demons overtook them. The music is, for the most part, still pretty good; the clothes, not as bad as you'd expect; the attitudes, for the most part, are still recognisable, despite the gulf of events that separate then from now.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Love it
I first watched this back when I was a teenager (many moons ago). I loved it. Then when my daughter entered her mid teens I bought the box set for her, she also loved it now my two step daughter's are in their teens I'm passing down the joy to them and I'm 100% sure they'll love it as much as I still do. It's a timeless classic. The only disappointing side is that it comes in 3 slim cases instead of one big box but that's no big deal really.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
