Good Period Drama
One of my favourite genres of movies is period genres namely because of the costumes and storyline. This movie about the decadence that was Venica and how atrocious the Inquisition was. Catherine McCormack was very good in the title role of Veronica Franco. Oliver Platt was okay as the turncoat Maffio Vernier. Initiallly I didn't care for Rufus Sewell in the role of Marco Vernier but by the end of the movie I liked his character.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
