Great radio apart from the aerial.
This is a really good radio and it's worth the extra tenner to get the slightly more powerful one. I have one gripe, this is the third of this model I've had and all the aerials have broken within a few days, I pull them out gently because I know they come apart and they come apart. So, one star off for an otherwise great radio.

After many attempts (and years) at trying to find a portable radio suitable for our kitchen, we’ve finally found it! Great sound and excellent reception this certainly has been the best yet and I will now stop looking. It doesn’t have DAB but I’m not bothered because the digital reception where I live is awful. I can thoroughly recommend this radio, well done Roberts!

Great value and quality
My mother wanted a simple radio with dials and buttons which just played music. She didn't need it to log into anything or integrate with any other devices. Like a lot of people out there she wants radios that play music, phones that just phone etc. Anyway Roberts, well done! She loves it.

Get one whilst you still can !!! - Olde-stylee but golde !!!
Bought this for an old lady who is a dear friend. She can't get on with digital/DAB and frankly, neither can I !!! This is a great 'old school' portable transistor and does everything it should! Digital/DAB is several steps backward in my opinion! - Buy this whilst you still can !!!

once you get used to the way the radio works it's very easy to use. you programme the presets via 4 dials on the back. sound is good, it has a base and treble control and it gets the stations it should. what more do you need?
