This is perfect
Today, I received my Pacsafe Venturesafe EXP 45. I researched this backpack for the last two months. This was the lowest price I encountered. I thought something had to be wrong with it but wanted the functionality and was willing to accept an off color or manufacturing imperfection. The pack is perfect! I examined it closely looking for defects and issues that I saw in other reviews. One person complained about weak seams. The construction seems strong and solid to me. I also read about the water bottle holder being tight. There is an opening toward the back of the holder. Inside is a snap. Release the snap and an elastic strap allows the holder to expand. The padded shoulder straps and the hip and sternum straps work well. I will agree that it would be more convenient if the zipper on the front compartment allowed for a wider opening. Strong sturdy and safe.
We purchased this bag specifically for travel to Africa and wanted a bag that was carry on (8kg) luggage, sturdy and safe and it met our expectations easily. Have no hesitation in recommending.
