Screw in rotary spike
Is great in theory but my washing line was way to small for it, even though I measured it before I purchased it. The attachments don’t work over the screw that keeps the cover cap in place. The holes also snapped when putting it in to the ground. It is easy to put in place, make sure the ground it watered and it stayed in position. Look fo a metal one, not this rubbish

Should last years
Will last year's, made from tough flexi plastic. Quite hard to get in to my London clay. Wet the ground and went it in ok. Sticks up a bit around 3cm so lawnmower might hit it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Couldn't get on with this!

Round Spike
This plastic product will be fine in soft ground or sand,but I'd not 'man enough ' for screwing into the lawn.It took ages of pilot holing etc and eventually succeeded by soaking the ground.But not before the holes for the bar had fractured.
