Given a rating by Sega's own council, Splatterhouse 3 for Sega Genesis is a horror game filled with action-packed quests. There are six levels in the game, all of which take place in a mansion. You get to take advantage of non-linear exploration, and you get to play as Rick. The whole premise of the game is to find a way out of each level. There are four possible endings, depending on the actions you take during the game. Changes up the Splatterhouse formula.. & i like it
Splatterhouse 3 is different than 1 & 2. Whereas the original were 2-d action platformers, 3 is more of a beat ‘em up with puzzle elements in where to go. Still maintains the satisfying cracks of the bat & hacks of the butcher knife. Only downsides are When you use your rage mode, it doesnt seem to have much benefit, you hit a little harder but move slower. The timer is pretty harsh too.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
