Amazing shampoo
Was recommended this shampoo from a friend who used it. Very pleased with the results. I have natural white/silver hair and this gives lovely platinum/silver/blue tones ... getting rid of any "yellowy/brassy" tones. Much better value than my previous "blue" shampoo. Please note it can stain your hands on application so you might prefer to wear gloves to apply. I would recommend a good conditioner after shampooing as it can "dry" the hair.... but love the effect & worthy of a little extra conditioning. Initially I thought it would give my bleached (level 9-10 hair) a grey. I tried firstly just leaving it for a few minutes. Results - toned I tried leaving for 5-7 minutes. Results purple tinge Leaves hair dry - so condition after. I am still looking to find a toner that would give me that silvery-grey I want! The price is very good for the actual quantity. I've used an expensive silver shampoo for years. Thought I'd give this a try...WOW..Just 5 minutes with product on hair before rinsing out n no conditioner needed and the colour is a beautiful Platinum shade. I used gloves the 1st time I used this product, because it is so thick n very dark looking, but now I just wash my hands with soap while waiting the 5 minutes. I am naturally grey with dry hair, but this leaves a lovely shine with excellent colour coverage. So pleased that now I will never go back 2 the old expensive stuff. Good purple toning shampoo
As a hairdresser, I'm always on the look out for good products - that do what they say. This purple shampoo does work, after 2-4 minutes it gives a mute of any yellow tones in the hair. I havent left it on longer than these times as not many clients are looking for purple tinged hair as I imagine this would do left on for a longer period of time. The smell of it is a little chemical, but not unpleasant. It doesn't dry out the hair. Not recommended to be used every hair wash anyway. This shampoo is seriously incredible, lifted my hair 4 shades of blonde within 4 uses!!! Does dry out your hair so I would recommend using a bit of conditioner on the ends. Takes the yellow out for sure. Only don’t leave on too long as it will make silver hair (maybe blonde also) purplish in colour. Fab size and value for money. Smells good.
