Lightweight and excellent value
Incredible value for money. This lens focuses very fast (with my F5) is probably as sharp as any zoom, and certainly a lot lighter. Equally useful on full frame and 1.5x crop frame. Only downside is the cheap plastic build.

Light, flexible lense with good optics.
Great little lense with good optics for the budget price. unless you are shooting in really low light where a 1.4 would give you more flexibility this a really versatile lense. Though not as tough as the older metal units it still seems to be well constructed.

Fast prime, excellent value for money
Every photo taken with this lens on my D600 came out with beautiful sharp images. It produces nice creamy bokeh. Lens isn't built like a tank, made out of plastic. Much better value for money over the Nikkor 1.4G.
