Great pool ladder!
This ladder is exactly what I was looking for. It's strong, well constructed, and does not float up at all. It makes getting in and out of the pool easy. We have an Eskie who loves to jump in with us and make a lap around the pool. This great quality ladder is a real value!
This ladder replaces a set of Confer steps, which we've used for 25 years. It's a great design with excellent quality construction as always from Confer Plastics made in the USA. This very strong, compact design is super easy to assemble and move in/out of the pool. The ladder has an excellent angle and a very small footprint. The child proof pass-through preventer adds safety and extra support. The price was excellent and the shipping was super fast and free. great deck ladder
the ladder is sturdy, not bad to put together although the brace part is a bit confusing. does lift up off the bottom of the pool they say to add sand but i did not due to the fact that once its in there, you can not clean it and water will certainly get inside causing algae. so i just let if float up off the floor an inch or so and make sure its touching when we get in and out.. Also, this will give you the opportunity to brush under the ladder to keep it clean.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Sturdy Confer Ladder
I have owned an A-frame Confer Pool Ladder for near 20 years and this Deck to Pool Ladder is made just like it. I expect it will preform as well as it has. This ladder has a nice angle to it, so it is easier to climb up. My husband and I are both over 250 and the ladder feels nice and solid. CONFER IT WOULD BE GRAND IF YOU MADE A WIDER LADDER, hint hint! I would also love the top ladder rail to graduate with me as I climb up to the standing position on the deck, as I am old with some physical limitations. This ladder gives me no floating up troubles whatsoever! I did not put sand in it.
