Comfortable, but not ideal in noisy environments
I have a couple of pairs of DR100 headphones. Both needed the pads replacing, so I thought I'd try these out on one of them before deciding whether to get more for the other pair or go with the original vinyls. The cotton pads are very comfortable, but they don't seal out external noise as well as the vinyl pads. So, if you're in a nice quiet comfy studio or office, they're perfect. If you want to use them in the field to monitor and record live audio, you're better off with the vinyl pads. Well worth getting for when I'm working on sound at home. But, if I only had one pair, I'd be going with vinyl.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
