could be better for the price

Too tight and poor sound quality
Needed a pair of headphones for watching Blu-rays and TV at night, but needed a budget pair at the time. These seemed to fit the bill, I have had other JVC headphones that have been thoroughly excellent for the money. Unfortunately these do not fit into the same category. To start with the fit is extremely tight, to the point where I have to take a break watching a film to give my ears and head a rest. my head size is exactly average for a man, not large or small. To be fair to JVC, it seems at the moment that this is the trend with most makes. They try to make the headphones fit as tight as possible to give a noise cancelling effect, so many people do not understand noise cancelling that the manufacturers are just making them fit tight. The sound is a definite meh. really rather flat losing a lot of the highs throughout, and you cannot say they overcompensated with the bass as that is lacking too. I would call these headphones a backup if only every other pair in the house where broken. To sum up, I am looking for a better budget pair.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Seem like good quality headphones
I was pleasantly surprised by the good sound quality from these headphones since they were so cheap. I find them very comfortable and they fit completely over my ears unlike some which aren't quite big enough to cover the entire ear. They are adjustable so that the bit going over your head doesn't have to rest on the top of your head. The cable appears strong and is extremely long (I knew this before buying). I have used them for Netflix movies on my phone and laptop while my wife watches something I'm not interested in on the TV, and she says she cannot hear any noise leakage from them even though I have them turned up pretty loud. I've also used them for music and again the sound quality seems good, though I'm by no means a sound expert (experts would probably buy much more expensive ones). I'm very happy with them and have actually bought another two of them since my wife and daughter also wanted a set after seeing and trying then. It is comfortable . It is " over ear " headphone , and they are more comfortable than " on-ear " or " in-ear " ones . It suits DJ's as well , because the phone "cups " can be independently turned up , so one ( or both ) of ears can hear the ambiance sounds and voices temporarily . If you want to use this to listen to TV , buy something with longer cable , or buy some extension audio lead . It is inexpensive and very good value for money . I'm a DJ and need value for my cash
The headphones tick all the boxes unless you are a equip snob, and looking to impress with a brand name . What I look for is power output for live shows and quality sound , You get that with these. also we can use with our recording studio. brilliant for monitor cans . we brake a few due to performers walking away when still wearing the headset. so the price is brilliant . For planning sets and adjusting settings the headsets are full range and allow us to pre-set graphics.

You get what you pay for.
This is an inexpensive headphone and what you don't get is a large encompassing ear pads providing a strong connection with your ear. This prevents the full empathy with the sound being received. That said, it works very well and continues to do so. The volume control is rather pointless as the maximum sound level is the same as headphones without that feature. New Stereo Panasonic RP-HT225 Overhead Headphones
The build quality is fine but as others have commented they are quite small. I found after an hour or two they began to make my ears hurt where they pinched against my head. I do wear glasses but other similar sized headphones didn't hurt like this even with my glasses on. If you have a small head buy these. They work well for television listening and are fine for music.With the three metre cable being perfect for TV. I think I'll gift these to someone with a smaller head. Great Headphones
These headphones fit me really well. The bit over the top of my head is adjustable which helps. The earpieces are really comfortable and fit completely over my ear. The cable plugs into my phone and my PC so I have music wherever I go, and it has a volume control on the cable so I can tone it down without difficulty.
