Hetty is nice and compact but powerful - she only has one power setting (adjustable down by using the hose vent). This Hetty is slightly smaller than our old Henry - that had a switch that changed from low to high power but was mostly used on full power anyway. Henry and Hetty are very well made and reliable - our Henry didn't break but (after many years of good service) was given to a relative to supplement their weak cordless cleaner. We have a dog with long hair so bought the additional Pro Pack to go with this Hetty, which gives 3 extra tools/heads and gives excellent results! Got Hetty as didn't want to buy an expensive bagless type with dusty emptying process.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Best Hoover I’ve owned in 50 years
Easy to change & a MASSIVE bag. Should last months. Great suction. Quite light for its size. Superb value. My last hoover was 3 times the price & had a few more bells & whistles (auto cord rewind, can adjust suction strength, pipe length adjustment) but twice the weight). Recommended. It's the best Hoover hetty I've ever purchased. I bought it straight from the factory. Fast free dispatch time. Easy to put together. It works like a dream. Item came the next day, packaged brilliant. Looks almost new. I am very happy with her. She's slightly smaller and lighter than my old hetty which is great as the older one is very heavy hence me getting a separate one for upstairs, thank you ever so much, really impressed. I wish I'd bought one years ago !
Much lighter and simpler to use than my previous " heavyweight " machine which I hardly used because it was far too heavy for this old-timer. More cleaning will certainly be done now and with all the attachments included there's no excuse for missing corners. Probably the best hoover I've ever used, let alone bought over the years. 2nd one just bought for home after got one for the business. Simple, HEPA clean, lightweight for 6L, quiet, silly easy to throw the bag and not faff with clogged cyclones etc etc. Cable rewind makes life easy cos the cable unwinds with you so it can't get stuck on obstacles, 10m cable. Solid, quality construction. The suction is so good you might want a suitable rotating brush add-on to do some carpets quickly without sticking. And made in the UK so supporting local jobs.
