Will do what you want it to do except for the email function
I was hoping with this purchase to be able to use it like the original Picasa. All the functons of the original were thre when it came to d/l your pics and any editing that you wanted to do. I did not think far enough ahead until I tried to send some pics by email. UP came the proverbial ERROR notification that you cant email as google has terminated all activities with google..Still very happy with all the functions of Picassa, Money well spent, except for that one flaw. Broken Disk
After attempting to install software several times to no avail I took a closer look at the unlabeled side and discovered that the software has a crack approximately 2 inches from the center toward the outer edge of the disk. Of course, I quickly understood my inability to use the purchased software. I will say that when I received the piece of mail it was curled noticeably, but when I opened I did not notice the crack. It was only yesterday that the obvious flaw jumped out at me.

so glad to have the original picasa back. google replacement is worthless
