Works well
I wanted a discreet mounted camera. The original mount is way too big and ugly. I Considered making one, but this 3D printed model is excellent, it saved me time and effort. It looks better than any bracket I could have made. It is a perfect fit. The bracket is tight, but fits well. It is tight enough and robust enough to minimise any movement and be secure. Before I bought it I was wondering if the joint would work properly, being 3D printed. I have to say that the ball joint works well, tight enough to be steady, but enough play to be able to adjust it easily. It arrived the next day, so very quick. It is simple, fits well and does not obstruct the view from the camera, and it looks a lot neater than the original. Really clever
A really clever use of 3D printing to produce something useful. It's much more compact than the standard Nextbase item and this meant I could tuck the camera up behind the mirror very neatly. Nicely packaged with good instructions and a wipe to clean the screen before you stick on the mount. Better adhesive needed other than that a great product
This really fills a gap in the market ,why Nextbase never thought of making this mount instead of the big bulky suction cup version I will never know . It helps put the camera out of site so less of a target for thieves . The only down side is it has come off several times when parked in the sun but I have found the use of 3M VHB tape has kept it on the windscreen.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great! Exactly what I needed!
My current dash cam, Nextbase 412 wouldn't fit behind my new car's "frameless" mirror due to the mirror itself being thicker, leaving less room between it and the glass. The standard mount did not allow the dash cam to fit behind the mirror and would have needed to be on show - obstructing the windscreen. Brilliant product
The mount is excellent. The camera is much less visible now as it is tucked away behind the mirror. From drivers seat the camera can no longer be seen compared to using the original camera mount, no more screen glare when driving at night. Thank you!

a good idea
not bad price, but quality suffers a little. when you first attach your camera its a bit too tight, but it does loosen after a while. as per instructions, yes follow them and it will stick good to your windscreen and even an aftermarket sun strip as i did.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
