Plan on recharging the collar evey 2 weeks
This collar was used on a dog that had used a similar collar all his life, so he did not come close to the underground fence that already existed. That is, he does not get close to the perimeter of the yard so it discharges by vibrating or warning him. I have used the collar about 2 months now and the collar-battery discharges EVERY two week. I have to recharge it about each ten days or it goes dead. The former collar lasted at least 6 months be fore recharging became necessary. This is a PAIN! Other than the battery discharge issue, the other features of the collar are relative good.

Product was as advertised. 8 stimulation settings permit the use of the level of correction that is appropriate for each dog. Dogtra makes quality products and this fence seems to be well made too. The actual collar could be better. A large improvement would be if Dogtra added a bungy as they have with their training collars to make it easier to take the collar on and off the dog since it is not worn constantly. Overall, am happy with the purchase and would buy again.
