Good versatile modem
Was easy to setup as it automatically picked up my Aldi sim card. Didnt have to change any settings as it just worked straight away. When connected to PC a web page for settings is automatically launched. Havent had a chance to test it with external antenna yet, in a remote area. Has 3G and 4G antenna ports. Cheap and reliable
I've had this modem for 3 months now, and I'm very happy with it. I'm using it with a non-Optus sim card, and it started to work straight away. Easy to set up, so the accompanying booklet with instructions is barely necessary. I have connected all my home computers and printer to it and it does what it has to do without a problem. I have it on most of the day. The battery lasts quite a bit and the line has only dropped twice in these 3 months and it was during some days when we had a dreadful weather. The device does not heat up when charging, and it is really portable and weightless. The main downside of this modem is the indicator system as it is difficult to know when the modem is totally off. One has to press the central button about 2 seconds for the modem to get on, and then the same time for the modem to get off. However, at times, the modem has not switched off, and I realized that when pressing to switch it on in the morning, so sometimes switching off can turn into a restart if the finger presses a bit over the time. There is no indicator about the modem being off, or switch off button, so I find that annoying. The product was dispatched fast and reached my place fast.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Little Unit
It's compact, light yet fast. Simple to set up almost plug and play. I use this at work because my office is too far away from the works wifi. My last one same brand different model lasted me 5 years and that was secondhand.
