Good quality bell
It has two socket plugins, which makes it easy to hear all over the house, but for some reason it has started ringing, even when no body has pushed the bell. Is there a way to turn down the frequency pick up area, someone has suggested it could be an electronic car key that interferes with the signal. Any suggestions would be good to hear. Works well
My mother had a pair of the plug in door bells that worked but the bell push was faded and unreliable. She insisted on a brand new set so I recycled the old ones by buying 2 of these buttons and giving one with a ringer to my daughter and kept the other. Both work fine. I think pairing the bell with the button is done when you switch on the plug in bell - immediately push the button and they are set. If the ringer is turned off/on without the re-pairing then that may be the source of perceived unreliability.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Works well and easy to use
This door bell is easy to use and has a reasonable range of sounds which I believe can be expanded by plugging into a computer. The exterior buttons are rated for damp conditions. The only thing I would caution about with the door bell is the wireless transmissions through walls is not so great in old thick walled stone built properties. But that goes for most things like WiFi and wireless telephones. In an normal modern house they should work fine. One neat feature is that if you buy and install additional bell push buttons they can be programmed very easily to make a different sound so one would know if there was someone at the back or front door for example.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Excellent for chime model JSJS-205
Perfect replacement for Siemens old door bell, which had stopped working but the plug in chime was still in great condition. Worked as soon as battery protection tab removed - pleased it came with battery. Simple job to stick on PVC front door with Rhino double sided tape; much cheaper than buying a new complete unit.

brilliant
