Pioneer's DVL-919 is a multi-format DVD, laserdisc (LD) cum CD player that comes with a component video output that allows you to watch analog-video format tapes. The Pioneer DVL-919 DVD Player also includes 24-bit digital to analog format converter and offers Dolby Digital audio outputs. Black in color, this light-weight DVD cum laserdisc model is quiet and has composite video, S-Video and component video outs giving a great video quality even when playing laserdiscs. One of the main advantages of the Pioneer DVL-919 DVD Player is that it plays the AC-3 encoded and DTS encoded laserdiscs which are rare to find.
