this works very well so far - my only caveat and hence the 4 stars is that it does not fit on your finger - and actually whilst swimming I wouldn't really want it flailing about as I do the crawl or backstroke - I have attached it to my locker tag and that works very well - easy to press the button at the end of each lap with the other hand. In fact a friend has just bought one and has done exactly the same thing - much more secure - yet to see how long the battery will last but would definitely buy again when it does - leaves me free to concentrate on my swimming instead of trying to remember the lap number!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great idea, but poor product
This idea of this product is great.... just strap onto your finger and manually press a button to keep track of your laps. I've had mine a few weeks but unfortunately it suffers from some major flaws: 1 - the display is very small and dim... hard to read when wearing goggles. It could definitely do with a much brighter display. 2 - the button you press after each length is not tactile and you cannot feel a 'click'. As a result some lengths don't get registered and you find yourself closely examining whether it has added a length on each time. 3 - It is cheaply constructed and not properly waterproof. Mine had already stopped working and there is water coming out of the button. All in all a great idea, but so poorly executed by the manufacturer I cannot recommend it. A nice little accoutrement!!
Have used the E6 lap counter for over 3 years now. It's a great aid to lap counting; you only have to touch the button with your finger. On and Off button saves the battery. We have been using 1 every six months to swim 3 times a week. It is great value. Although you could try to change the battery, I feel it would be easier to replace it with a sealed unit. Very useful gadget
I bought this to track my laps for a charity swim. It arrived quickly and is a very useful little gadget. Fits comfortably on my finger. My only complaint is that it isn't easy to turn off or clear, but it's not a huge issue really. Tracks my laps fine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It's OK but...
I like having something simple that I can just count laps with. However I have slim fingers so first started with it around the lower part of my finger, but it then slightly cut the wee bit of skin between the fingers.
