I. love. this. machine.
I have owned IRobot Roombas for years now. And they do a great job! As a dog owner, it keeps up on the hair. It even picks up the sand that we inevitably track in here in the south. I would highly recommend them However, I would also recommend an extended warranty be purchased with them as well. They do work great, but not for long. I have gone through more than I can recount. Roomba Discovery 4210 review
Have had one of these units for many years now. Found it to be very dependable, easy to use, easy to empty and clean. Finally, after about 8 years, the charger within the robot quit charging using the docking unit, so was forced to get a separate charging unit for the batteries, which took care of that issue. Additionally, the front, fixed wheel started wearing down so did have to replace that, which was a relatively easy job. Decided it might be time to get a replacement Roomba due to these issues and it's age, but since it had been so faithful to me, and I was now so familiar with it, purchased a second Roomba Discovery 4210, this one with a rotating front wheel. Now have two running all over the house keeping the cats and dogs interested. There are newer, probably better, but much more expensive models now available, but overall, these are a very efficient and dependable unit. Very happy with this model. If any repairs are needed, there are countless youtube videos out there on how to do it. Can't beat it for the price compared to new models.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very good overall
It does a fair job keeping up with dog hair on hardwood floors, which is why we got it. You could make a sweater a week from our Corgi alone. My only negative thoughts are that it is surprisingly loud and it gets hung up on things, so you have to pay attention to it. The sales pitch makes it seem like you set it and forget it. KEEPS UP WITH ROVER'S MESS
Although this machine is a bit noisy on my hardwood floors, it does a great job of keeping up with the mess of two 55 lb. dogs as well as my two young grandchildren (and the adults that go along with them). It has some well known drawbacks such as choking on any cords, ropes etc. that are left in its path and having difficulty getting in corners.
