Mowbot is a time saver
I had been thinking of getting a robot lawnmower for a long time but the price put me off. When I saw this at £500 I decided to go for it. The 1200R takes a good bit of time to set up but, once it’s done, will actually save you lots of time. It keeps my large(ish) back garden nicely trimmed. I had a problem with my first one but Argos swapped it with no hassle and the 2nd one has been fine, maybe Flymo quality control not so good? Anyway, now it’s up and running it’s great to put my feet up and watch it do all the work!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not so good
My Flymo 1200R failed after 2 months from new I was the second owner but first to take it out of the box. Flymo wont help with warranty "second owner no proof of purchase" the part cost over £200 and I still have to take it to a dealer "and pay"to have it plugged in to get the parts synchronised. robot lawn mower
Love it. Had it a few weeks now. Easier to set up than the instructions look. It took about an hour and a half being careful. I read and and watched the videos a number of times before I started the setup. The mower did cut the wire first attempt but that was my fault. Has worked flawlessly rain or shine and although the daily set up isn't too clear I soon had it worked out within a couple of days through trial and error. This is the future of lawn mowing. Fantastic. I have a big lawn about 140ms so currently is set for an hour a day, probably fine tune this next summer as I bought it late autumn.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

This Flymo 1200R robotic mower is great.
It is a little bit of work to set up the base and the control loop, but worth it. I bought a petrol strimmer for the edges. I haven't spent more than an hour a week strimming the edges. The mower does the rest. I have set it to come out at 8pm, it mows and charges until the lawn is perfection 4 nights a week. My grandchildren are not at risk, as it only runs after 8 pm. My dog just avoids it, as do the birds etc. As usual, read all of the instructions before you begin and during while you install. Easy to set up although time consuming
Was easier to set up than I feared. Couldn't get it to one small area of garden as 'route' through an arch was too narrow. Put wires in a slot in the lawn which took some time - but worthwhile longer term I think. Otherwise everything worked first time. Programming is logical. Very happy
Bought this for my husband. As he has wanted for a while. Very easy to set up,have had to move the wire in some places just because it got stuck. All good now. I love my Flymo 100R and I have called it Lawna !
