AKG quality, no worries there.
I was using Sony and Samson over ear headphones for ages, before getting these AKG's. I was so pleased with my AKG 451's that it was a logical leap to monitoring headphones of the same make. I checked out Sennheiser and while others say they're better, I didn't see it, testing a range of audio styles including my own compositions. With these AKG's, I have a relatively flat equaliser setting on my PC now with only a smidgen of bass boost and I reckon I can balance my tracks better for listening on my phone and on the car hifi, so all round good performance. Slightly warm on the ear, after an hour or so, but that's liveable with the positive performance otherwise.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

AKG say no more
Pay your silly money for "Beats" and "skull candy" etc. You buy food and drink with your mouth. Buy headphones with your ears just use your eyes to read the specification, especially frequency response (the lower the Hz the better bass. the higher the KHz the better top end) I see £300 headphones with no mention of a frequency response because they went and put a ford fiesta engine in a nicely painted BMW. These headphones can be worn all day and sound extremely good, but then AKG were making studio headphones (for REAL studios) long before the people who are designing those "designer" headphones were born.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great pair of headphones
There are a great pair of headphones good sound quality, well balanced sound wise ie you can here all the different musical instruments. They don't have a massive bass but if you want a good all round Music quality theses are for you.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
