Ideal replacement for Minky ironing boards
As a replacement for a Minky ironing board it was a straightforward swap for the old cover. It's important to measure your ironing board length to make sure you get a good fit. Only poor feature is the edge of the cover by the iron rest. Some boards have a means to clamp this end but mine had no such feature, so a bit of gaffer tape had to be used to keep it out of the way. Difficult to fit
This cover was very difficult to fix to my ironing board as I have a fixed iron rest that cannot be removed. Even buying the large size it barely reached the end and the strings you have to pull up to make it fit are very thin & cut painfully into your hands. The metallic surface (unlike others I’ve had before) has a rough surface and the clothes stick to almost like Velcro which makes it difficult to slide them around on the board whilst ironing.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Value for money

Good metallic cover

The ironing board cover is good value for the price, but I was hoping for something with a bit more padding and it's quite thin. Also, the drawstring isn't very robust. Makes light work of Ironing
I always buy these as a top cover on my ironing board and have an existing normal ironing board cover underneath.... crazy as it may sound, but it works! This cover makes light work of ironing as it reflects the heat from your iron and the fabrics move easily on your board. I have a large board and its easy to fit and and looks tidy. Venerable Ironing Board Rejuvenated
We had one of these already, but after 18 years the foam padding had reduced to dust. Does not seem to be available in a small size, but not difficult to reduce in length at the iron end by using scissors. Only fiddly bit was that the drawstring was sewn in to the end of the fabric "tubes", so needed a stitch picker to release it.
