Fast delivery, but no instructions and uncertain functionality
The cable arrived quickly and appeared to be in good condition. Windows 10 would not install drivers, so the supplied software was required. Written instructions were not supplied, with none on the accompanying mini-cd. The Windows 10 driver in the RS232-340 folder worked and Windows reported the device as working properly. The chip checker in the RS232-2303 folder informed me that the PL2303 chip was not found. The software appears to have been released by Prolific, but the cable may not be compatible with the software. Although I need another cable, I will find a genuine Prolific cable, since I may need the PL2303 chip to be present.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

faulty and low qaulity adapter

Great but pin 7 is not used for handshaking.
Great for the price and a Female 9 D sub which is what I was after, however for some things it will not work as Pin 7 (Comms ack) is not used and some programs require this. If its just 3 wire 232 then it fine. Drivers installed ok from CDVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
