A blast from my past
This is a TV series I loved in my Teens. I loved the concept and most of the story lines. The serial nature of the programs meant that between episodes I and my friends were able to discuss what we had seen and guess what might happen in next episode. In those days the viewer had the time between episodes to let the imagination run free. Something loss in the current trends of children tv. While the acting is a bit dubious at best, the programs still hold together quite well. Some story lines should have been edit to make a more concise story. A couple should have been redrafted without the forced humour. But at the time I never noticed this. I just enjoyed the audio / visual experience. The commentaries by the actors from the show are excellent and well worth the price. Their memories put the show in context and add a lot laughs along the way. A great big thank you goes to the Revelation team that brought this set back into the public eye and to the actors who gave their time to the commentaries. Much Appreciated G.
