Provides Expanded Options For XR-12 Mixer and DAW Use
We use an XR-12 digital mixer in our studio,also for live gigs,and needed a physical fader option in addition to tablet app control. Screen swipes just weren't cutting it for us. We are blown away by how well it works for us in DAW mode and more importantly our DJ gigs. We are all in hiatus,which gave me a chance to really give this unit a work out. Totally love it;it ain't sleek and beautiful but it sure speeds up the workflow. Better value than Faderport
Was looking at the Personus Faderport but got this unit for a little more than the Faderport. And forget the Faderport 8, this was almost half the cost. If you have the cash to burn, sure, go with the Faderport, but this unit is a great "bang for the buck". I love it and it has 9 faders versus the Faderport 8's 8. This unit includes a Master Fader.
