Great little vacuum for a small home
The Karcher VC5 is a very good vacuum all around. It has four power settings. The suction power is great and you don't even need to use the maximum setting to successfully clean carpets and other tough-to-hoover flooring. The size is definitely a plus - it is very compact and stows away when not in use. It is feather-light and has a very long power cord so that two floors are comfortably cleaned from one socket. The exhaust is very clean without even a trace of dust. The noise level is a big plus, especially at power settings 2 and 3. It comes with all the necessary accessories. Finally, the price is great. The biggest drawback is the size of the dust canister. At only 200ml it needs to be cleaned regularly (at least twice during cleaning, if you vacuum once a week), or the suction power goes down significantly. Another nagging, but not essential drawback is the design of the power controls - there is a separate on/off button and power settings button. A more intuitive option would have been to switch the vacuum off through the power settings slider.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Powerful vacuum with great adaptability
A very well built product, very powerful and easy to manoeuvre. Excellent adaptability and very compact when In storage. The only downside for me is that it doesn't pick up hair from the carpet, I guess it's because there are no brush rollers on the head to gather them up. Lightweight with good fetures

Lightweight and powerful
I have been very happily surprised at the efficiency of the Vax. It was recommended on a review site comparing it very favourably to models which were twice the price. I have a cat and a dog and it is so easy to give the floors a quick once over to pick up their pet hair and when they bring in parts of the garden (or worse). a good compact vacuum cleaner for small cleaning
if you have a big vacuum cleaner and do not want to leave it for petty cleaning then it's for you. I tried to clean the whole apartment and it quickly heated up. A small garbage bowl that is suitable for small gatherings. But you can not replace a large vacuum cleaner.
