Looks very "beta"
TM5402 M4 Tiny script manual, barely readable - only for the young. No on-line pdf available. RS232 port doesn't appear connected although manual says it works. Tech support say it doesn't. They also say "No public channel editor" Looks very "beta" . Marketed before the techies had finished the job. Broadly like earlier models now with HD Needs a firmware update, nice picture though. Thought seriously about sending it back, in the end I didn't , picture quality was better than my older TM5400.

Poor man's tm5402 m3
This is a cut down tm5402 M3. It has less functionality, and is less reliable, almost like a beta release e.g. pausing on timeshift reveals no stop button. Good blind search...but otherwise a huge backward step from the M3 (which I have had two of for years)...get an M3 instead

Great - it turns on quickly and changes channel reasonably quickly. Picture quality is crisp. Organising the channels takes some thought. Not sure whether it can record a whole series - mainly because I don’t have a manual. More for occasional recording I think.
