Comfortably mine
On discovering I had a Hiatus Hernia with Barrett's Oaesophagus I needed to take action. One of the self help suggestions was to raise the bed 8 inches so I sought to find a pillow. I did try a makeshift effort but while for me this was an improvement it just didn't taper down enough making me have the odd twinge..Also the makeshift effort was under the mattress which I felt long term would not do my mattress any good. The pillow arrived spot on time and although it was in a roll I knew to expect this and to leave it out of the packaging for up to 48 hours. After this time I eagerly removed my own modification and placed the pillow on the bed adding my usual pillows on top. When bedtime came and I laid on the pillow it initially felt a little firm but after 10 or so minutes it seemed to be fine. When I laid on my back it was perfect but seemed a little narrow for sleeping on my side ( and it's recommended to sleep on the left side for a Hiatus Hernia) but it must have been ok as I know I do not sleep on my back all night! On writing this I have only slept on it for 1 night however I would recommend this product as it's practical and comfortable and does definitely help with MY relief of acid reflux. The pillow comes with a removable cover , however I made my own cover before first use.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A good size but not what I was looking for
The first point to state is that I was looking for something to help me sit up comfortably in bed, supporting both my back and head rather than assist when lying down in a raised position, so I cannot comment on how well it works when doing the latter. For me the 'thin end of the wedge' (pun intended!) was too thin to support my head when leaning back against the head of the bed. As others have noted when first removing the packaging there is an obnoxious smell of chemicals presumably used in its manufacture. I left it in a airy location for a week and by then the smell had all but gone. This would of course work not help if one wanted to return it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Pillow
Found the pillow narrow so if you turned in the night you rolled of pillow also slipped down the pillow waking up uncomfortable but I did use in double bed in single the rolling may not apply. It is good quality and although memory foam very hard but may suit other users with different problems mine was breathing i had to have head elevated. L TVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Inside factory label says "TRIANGLE LEG CUSHION".
This product is misleadingly advertised as an acid reflux pillow. On the inside, the factory label says "triangle leg cushion". The width of the pillow is clearly intended for legs, as a leg rest. It is NOT intended to support the upper body as it is too narrow. I am writing a letter to Orthologics to let them know. I would not recommend it for the purpose of helping with acid reflux, but it can be used for leg support.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Work in progress
I bought this as I suffer from acid reflux. After a few weeks I am still trying to get used to the high sleeping position but I find I shuffle down the bed during the night. I will persevere. Good value for money

great for acid reflux suffering
first 2 nights sleep with this wedge was uncomfortable and I still had reflux symptoms. Few weeks later of using this every night, better sleep, no reflux, feel more refreshed in the morning, amazing life changing wedge.
