This was purchased to extend my fibre WiFi network in the house after the new hub was installed. It's working great so far. Because my WiFi front door bell was essentially out of range when the new hub was installed further away, this extender seemed the best way forward. It's also improved WiFi coverage other rooms too. I saw these I had a question as it looked like a router, not an extender. It is a router but works as an extender and connected to my system instantly.
